The walk is accessed from the end of the driveable road on the East side of Glen Feshie.
Looking into Coire Garbhlach from the west side of the Glen.
Shows some of the interlocking spurs.
I headed out diagonally from Achlean towards the entrance to the Coire….the path tends to 'come and go'.
The twenty meter waterfall with a feint path on the left side of the fall.
The Moine Mhor 'the great moss' can be reached from this area of the upper Coire.
The vast upper Coire seen after, on easier slopes, approaching the Moss.
From the summit of Mullach Clach a'Bhlair the unmistakable summit of Cairn Toul in the distance.
Descending from Mullach down Druim nan Bo Lochan nan Bo is reached.
Looking down Glen Feshie from the cairn at the spot height .770
The fine wee stone and turf bridge crossing a burn...the Allt Coire nam Bo.... on the way down to Ruigh Aiteachain.
Another old stalkers path that 'comes and goes' probably not now used very often.
Looking from the path to the middle part of Glen Feshie with the river coming from the upper Glen and the track heading up to gaining access to the old Minigaig trail down to Glen Bruar.
Now a slight change to the 'big house' in Glen Feshie with removal of the Turreted part of the house.
The building now in 2018.
Inside Ruigh Aiteachain the bothy superbly restored and financed by the Estate.
An easier crossing of the Garbhlach burn NN 953851 upstream of the one that the new path leads you towards. Also this one is shown on the maps whereas the new path is not.
The bridge at Carnachuin washed away in 2009.
The remains of the bridge soon after it was wrecked by the flood.
The bridge a little above Stronetoper with Garbhlach in the image.
The above Stronetoper bridge is shown on the 1:25,000 O.S. maps.
The Carnachuin bridge is still shown on the same maps.
On the 1:50,000 maps the Carnachuin bridge is correctly not shown.
